Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 24, 2026

This website does not require visitors to create an account or subscribe to anything. Interactive tools, such as the PSYPACT lookup, run entirely within your browser. We use basic analytics to understand which pages are useful, and any email address you provide is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell or share visitor information for marketing purposes. Please note that your privacy as a client is governed separately, and more strictly, by the HIPAA-compliant Notice of Privacy Practices provided at intake.

Who and what this covers

This policy explains how Restorative Therapy Center of New Jersey (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information collected through this website. It does not extend to clinical treatment records, which are protected under HIPAA through the Notice of Privacy Practices provided at intake and available upon request.

Cookies and site analytics

We may use standard analytics cookies to understand site usage and compile aggregate statistics. This site does not employ advertising trackers or cross-site pixels of any kind. Cookies can be limited or disabled through your browser settings at any time, and the site will continue to function normally without them.

Outside vendors we use

A small number of outside vendors support this site's hosting, analytics, and, where applicable, scheduling through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Each maintains its own privacy terms, which apply once you interact with them directly. This site also links to external resources, including Psychology Today, PSYPACT, and professional publications, over which we have no control.

What happens with what you send us

Information shared by email or through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry, and for no other purpose. Because standard email is not encrypted, we recommend keeping clinical details general in an initial message; more secure communication options become available once you are an established client.

Automatic web records

As with most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when pages are loaded, including IP address, browser type, and timestamps. This information is used only in aggregate, to maintain the site and understand general traffic patterns, and is not linked to your identity.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed toward children, and we do not knowingly collect identifying information from anyone under the age of 13.

How long we keep things, and who sees them

Visitor information is never sold, rented, or traded. Emails are retained only as long as necessary to address the matter at hand, or longer where professional record-keeping obligations apply to clients. Information is disclosed to others only where required by law.

Updates and how to reach us

Any future changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated effective date. Questions about this policy, or our Terms of Use, may be directed to us through our contact page.
